When thinking of what topic to write about for my very first blog post my mind was all over the place! This is so much tougher than it should be and that's pretty typical for me- I tend to make things a bit harder than they probably need to be, so if you don't mind, I am just going to be ME!
What you see is what you get. I won't pretend to be something or someone I am not. I am honest, I am humble, I am grateful! I'm also one of the funniest people you could meet 🤣 I am loyal.
I compete only with myself and I try to hold true to that, though it does get tough in the world of digital design. And, I will admit, I do struggle with feeling discouraged from time to time. Most of the time I am happily plugging along and so very happy I can use my creativity in a way that touches others. The thrill of the sale is something I never take for granted and no matter how many sales I have, I am honored that someone likes my design and wants to use it to make something, whether they are selling their products or making something personal.
This blog post is for those who are in the Facebook group- you all have been so supportive and I can't thank you enough! My goal with the group is to build a community, get to know each other and to offer what you want and need. Some of you have been with me for quite some time and some of you are new to the group... I appreciate each of you more than I can say.
As some of you may recall, we purchased a laser cutter/engraver and want to bring you some blanks to get crafty with. We are still working on that, ( I promise), but life gets in the way ( the husband's busy work schedule and my health problems) We have received a new shipment of acrylic and hopefully will be able to get some cuts done within the next few days. Tomorrow we plan to get get some birch wood to cut- once we get this rolling we can do some custom cuts- shapes, names, etc... The possibilities are endless, so please hang with me while my busy busy mind and old worn out body gets in the groove! 🤩
If you've read all this....WOW. Thank you so much! I'm sure I'll get more entertaining and informative with this blogging thing.
